ADMISSION TO STD. XI ARTS / SCIENCE / COMMERCE

Academic Year 2023 – 24

Admission Guidelines

  • Applications for admission to Std. XI (2023 – 24) shall be submitted to the office.
  • Applicants should have a valid e-mail ID and a valid Cell phone number.
  • Admissions to Std. XI shall be granted on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination, i.e., Std. X.
  • Merit list for admission to Std. XI (Science) shall be prepared on the basis of marks scored in Mathematics (Level 1) and Science in std. X. In case of a tie of marks, the candidate who scores higher in Mathematics shall be ranked higher.
  • Merit list for admission to Std. XI (Arts) shall be prepared on the basis of the aggregate marks scored by the candidates in Std. X.
  • Merit list for admission to Std. XI (Commerce) shall be prepared on the basis of the aggregate marks scored by the candidates in Std. X. However, those who want to opt for Maths / Banking as an optional subject in Commerce, admission will be on the basis of marks obtained by them in Mathematics ( Level 1) in std. X.
  • 2% seats are retained under management quota.

The Admissions Process 2023-24
STEP 1 Candidates desirous of seeking admission to the School shall obtain printed copy of the Admission Form & Prospectus 2023 – 24 from the office of the School during the time and period notified by the school.
STEP 2 The School will generate a stream-wise overall ranking list on the basis of the applications received on the last day of receiving applications.
STEP 3 Candidates who are offered admission shall visit the School on the specified date and time along with the documents listed below, failing which the seat may be released to the waitlisted candidate.

Documents to be submitted by the candidate:

  1. Certified copy of S.S.C.E. statement of marks (Coloured photocopy will not be accepted).
  2. Certified copy of Birth Certificate.
  3. School Leaving Certificate/Transfer Certificate in original, issued by the previous School.
  4. Caste Certificate (if applicable)
  5. Conduct / Character Certificate issued by the previous School.
  6. Three copies of recent photograph.

Note: Students who have passed std. X from Boards other than Goa Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education should obtain Provisional Eligibility Certificate from Goa Board.

STEP 4 Upon submission of documents as listed under Step 3, the candidate shall be issued a challan for payment of fees. The fees shall be paid at Bank of India, Bambolim Branch, or at the Bank counter in the school.
STEP 5 Upon payment of fees, a copy of the challan shall be submitted to the office of the School for record. The admission shall be deemed confirmed only upon submission of the Office copy of challan, duly stamped by the bank in acknowledgement of receipt of fees.

FEE STRUCTURE

DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED BY THE CANDIDATE

IMPORTANT

Candidates visiting the School during the period of admission (to obtain a copy of the prospectus or for submission of original documents) should compulsorily wear face masks, use sanitizers and observe social distancing. The School reserves the right to restrict entry to students and parents at the premises of the School, in view of the coronavirus pandemic.
