DCT’s Vasantrao Dempo HSS of Arts, Science and Commerce, Cujira,participated in the All-Goa Singing Competition 2025 on 28th November 2025 organized by Dr. K. B. Hedgewar Higher Secondary School, Cujira, where 13 Higher Secondary Schools from across Goa showcased their musical talent.
Bringing pride to our institution, our Higher Secondary School secured the 2nd Consolation Prize, a notable achievement that reflected the hard work and dedication of our team.
The event was coordinated by Mrs. Tulsi Bhomkar, who served as the Nodal Officer, guiding the team throughout the competition process.
Teacher Supriya Angle and Teacher Aparna Maurya, along with the following students, participated in the singing competition: Ms. Diyashree Sawant, Ms. Vinisha Shirodkar, Ms. Shruti Undikitti, Ms. Purva Neman, Ms. Rutuja Velingar, Ms. Arpita Narvekar, Ms. Priyasha Dessai, and Ms. Saanvi Parsekar.
Instrumental support was provided by Mast. Soham Kurtikar (harmonium), Mast. Lakshdeep Kunkalkar (Tal; student music composer), and Mast. Sarwang Naik (Ghumat).
The lyrics for the competition piece were written by Mr. Shidesh Santosh Cundaikar (Lyrics Writer).
