Chaitanya Pratishthan-Goa every year organises “एक राखी सैनिकांसाठी” on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan by collecting Rakhis from the students of High Schools, Higher Secondary Schools, Special Schools,Colleges ,NGOs, and General public and send them to our Jawans at the border.
The initiative seeks to inculcate a sense of patriotism, national pride and gratitude towards the soldiers who safeguard our Nation.
This year the programme was held on Thursday, 27th August 2026 at Darbar Hall, Lok Bhavan, Dona Paula – Goa at 10:00AM.
Students from DCT’s Vasantrao Dempo HSS of Arts, Science and Commerce, Cujira, participated in the Patriotic event “Ek Rakhi Sainika Sathi”, held at Darbar Hall, Dona Paula, Goa.
As a gesture of love, respect, and gratitude towards our brave soldiers, the NSS Unit of our school handed over 60 Rakhis to the Chaitanya Foundation.
The initiative reflects the students’ heartfelt appreciation for the dedication and sacrifices of our armed forces.
The Rakhis will convey the message of affection and solidarity from our students to the soldiers safeguarding our nation.
