The Department of English of DCT’s Vasantrao Dempo HSS of Arts, Science and Commerce, Cujira, held a Poster Making Competition on Proverbs in order to mark the Golden Jubilee Celebrations in our Institution on 23rd August 2025 in our school library.
The results are as follows:
First Prize: Ms. Dharana Dhargalkar-XI D Com
Second Prize: Ms. Kranti Kotharkar XII D Com
Third Prize shared by: Ms. Disha Khandolkar – XII B Com and Mast. Pratham Shirodkar-XI B Arts
Good Attempt:
Ms. Dhruvi Faldessai- XI C Com
Ms. Pari Bandekar- XI C Sci
Ms. Suhana Shaikh-XI C Com
Ms. Alyra Fernandes- XII B Com.
The judges for the competition were : Mrs.Amelia Barreto(Vice Principal) and Mrs. Kavita Borkar, PTA member.
There were altogether 33 entries from students from all the 3 streams.
