As a part of GOLDEN JUBILEE CELEBRATION 2025-2026, the Mathematics Department of DCT’s Vasantrao Dempo HSS of Arts, Science and Commerce, Cujira, organized a session on “Think faster calculate smarter with Vedic Mathematics”.

The Vedic Math session commenced with a melodious prayer song by Tr. Darshita Chari.
Our respected Principal madam Mrs. Maya Sardesai addressed the gathering with inspiring words, encouraging both students and teachers to embrace innovative approaches to learning.
Tr. Darshita Chari then introduced the esteemed resource person, Sir Sagar Ram Sakordekar, who conducted a highly engaging and interactive session. His dynamic presentation captivated the audience, with not only students but also teachers participating enthusiastically.
The session was attended by all students of std. XI Science, std. XI and XII commerce (mathematics). Additionally we were pleased to host 20 students from Mustifund higher secondary school, Cujira, along with their accompanying teacher whose presence added to the spirit of collaboration and shared learning
The session concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Tr. Shraddha Prabhu.
The programme was efficiently compered by Tr. Ashwini Sawant.
