As a part of GOLDEN JUBILEE CELEBRATION 2025-2026, the Physics Department of DCT’s Vasantrao Dempo HSS of Arts, Science and Commerce, Cujira, a session for students of std XI Science (all divisions) was conducted on the topic “The joy in learning” by a renowned scientist Dr. Vithal Tilvi on 19th July 2025.
He explained the importance of observation of nature and urged the students to be curious and acquire knowledge in depth.
He shared his experiences as a research scientist at NIO and as a team member of NASA’s Roman space telescope mission.
He also guided our students regarding various career opportunities available at NIO and in space research.
