The PTA and the School Management of DCT’s Vasantrao Dempo HSS of Arts, Science and Commerce, Cujira, jointly organized a heartfelt felicitation ceremony to honour the retired staff members of our school on 18th July 2026 for their dedicated and selfless service to the institution.
The programme felicitated former Principal Mrs. Maya Sardessai, Senior Teacher Mr. Shirish Bhide, and Librarian Smt. Vidya Joshi in recognition of their invaluable contribution to the growth and development of the institution during their tenure.
The dignitaries expressed their sincere appreciation for the exemplary service rendered by the retirees.
Their dedication, commitment, and lasting contribution to the institution and to generations of students were fondly acknowledged.
As a mark of gratitude and respect, the retired staff members were presented with mementoes and tokens of appreciation.
The ceremony was filled with warmth as the retirees shared their cherished memories and expressed their gratitude to the School Management, the PTA, the Staff members and the students for the love, support, and cooperation they received throughout their years of service.
The programme concluded with heartfelt wishes for the retirees, praying for their good health, happiness, and a fulfilling retired life by the Principal Mrs Amelia Barreto and PTA President, Mr. Rajendra Verlekar.
