As part of Jalpakhwada activity, Dct’s Vasantrao Dempo Higher Secondary School, Cujira had conducted a session on awareness about Water challenges and conservation on 22/04/2026 at 11.00
Resource Person for the session was Dr. Manoj Ibrampurkar.
It was quite an interesting and informative session. Sir explained various challenges like water scarcity, contamination – naturally and man-made causes. He stressed upon the fact that Goa is undergoing the challenge of contamination of water. So there is a need to conserve water through rain water harvesting, using water effeciently, increasing plantation area etc.
Session was conducted in presence of the Principal and Vice Principal alongwith other teaching and non- teaching staff and students.
Tr. Aparna Dhawalikar and Tr. Pooja Morajkar coordinated the programme.
