Mathematics day was celebrated on 16th December 2025 in the Av Room of of DCT’s Vasantrao Dempo HSS of Arts, Science and Commerce, Cujira, from 11 am to 1.30 pm.
The program began with , opening ceremony of display of Mathematical Exhibits in the form of Posters, Models , Mathematical Newspapers and Mathematical collage done by our students , inaugurated by our beloved Principal in the school library .
Tr Darshita Chari sang the welcome song, followed by lighting of the lamp by our principal, vice principal and Tr Shradhha Prabhu .
All the dignitaries were welcomed with hand made flowers , made by our own students .
The session began with Prize Distribution Ceremony of Mathematical Rangoli competition ” Rang Ganit”

Students who have scored good marks in the subject of Mathematics were appreciated by presenting ” Certificate of Appreciation” . This prize distribution ceremony was conducted by Tr Ashwini Sawant .
Presentations by students of xi science and commerce on various topics namely,
Sri Srinavasa Ramanujan, Shankutala devi, Application of Mathematics in commerce, Trigonometry, Mathematics in ancient temples, Aryabhata and Bhaskra II.
A monologue was also presented by student of class XII Science A Miss Nikita Vishwakarma.
Tr Swati Desai conducted puzzles. Students were also rewarded for correct answers .Vote of thanks was proposed by Tr Ashwini Sawant .
Miss Jovina and Miss Narayani compered the program.
