The Students’ Council Inauguration Ceremony of DCT’s Vasantrao Dempo HSS of Arts, Science and Commerce, Cujira, was held on 6th July 2026 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:40 a.m. in the AV Room.
The programme was gracefully compered by Ms. Valencia Afonso.
It commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by the floral welcome of the dignitaries and an inspiring address by our respected Principal, Mrs. Amelia Barreto.
The ceremony featured the official installation of the YRC, NSS, Eco Club, and Red Ribbon Club by their respective in-charges.
The dignitaries then presented badges to the Sports Representatives, Cultural Representatives, Office Bearers, Class Representatives (CRs), and Assistant Class Representatives (ACRs) of all classes.
The Students’ Council Teacher in-charge, Mrs. Ashwini Sawant administered the solemn oath, followed by the ceremonial parade and inspiring speeches by the office bearers.
The programme concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by the Students’ Council Teacher in-charge, Mrs. Ashwini Sawant followed by a photograph session and refreshments.
