The Makar Sankranti Celebration was held on 22nd January 2026 from 12 noon to 1.00 pm in the AV room of DCT’s Vasantrao Dempo HSS of Arts, Science and Commerce, Cujira.
It was a resounding success, graced by our esteemed guests, Shri Govind Silimkhan and Shri Nagesh Rao Sardessai.
This event enriched our students’ understanding of the festival’s cultural significance, along with its scientific and geographic impacts on Earth.
Kite making, Article Writing Competition and Budkulyo painting competition was held.
Teachers also participated in the Budkulyo Painting competition.
