Mathematics Department of DCT’s Vasantrao Dempo HSS of Arts, Science and Commerce, Cujira, organized a mind storming session on the theme – Mathematical Mindset- Smarter Strategies for Smarter Results as a part of our Golden Jubilee Celebration 2025-26, on 11th October 2025 in the AV Room from 10.30am till 1 pm.
All XI Science and XI Commerce Mathematics students attended the session.
Our Session started enthusiastically with a short Skit performed by Ms. Juyee Gawas and group of students from XI commerce B and D division, which was a set induction for our session followed by welcome song sung by Tr Darshita.
Our Resource Person Mr. Daryl Abranches conducted the session very well by discussing Importance of Mathematics, Effective ways of studying Mathematics, Mathematics used in Competitive examination, Career options, marking scheme and tips and tricks to attempt the questions. The students were completely engaged into Problem solving .
The program was organized and compered by Tr Swati, Tr Shradha introduced the Resource Person , Tr Ashwini gave vote of thanks.
