To mark the Hindi Day, Hindi Pakhawada was organized in DCT’s Vasantrao Dempo HSS of Arts, Science and Commerce, Cujira, on 17th September 2025 in our AV Room.
Mrs. Richa Sharma, a PGT, PM Shree INS Mandovi, Verem Reis Magos was the chief guest for the function.
At the outset she inaugurated Hindi Books Exhibition in our Library along with the Principal, Vice Principal, teachers and students.
Mrs. Darshita Chari welcomed guest by Saraswati Vandana with her sweet melodious voice.
Principal Smt. Maya Sardessai welcomed the guest and the gathering.
Mrs. Richa Sharma – spoke on the topic ” Hindi Vishay Aur Bhasha ka Mahatva”. She also honored the winners of various competitions held in our institution viz Essay writing competition, Fancy dress competition, Patriotic speech competition, Patriotic Group singing competition.
Mrs. Shraddha Naik Introduced the guest, Mrs. Sheetal Parab announced the names of the winners, Mrs. Antima Satarkar compered the program and Vibhagadyaksha & organizer Shri. Ajay Joshi proposed Vote of Thanks.
Cultural event, “Bahubhashi Kavya Sanmelan” was organized inviting the neighboring institution students who recited poems in Hindi, Marathi, Sanskrit, Konkani written by the students as well as some renowned poets.
Student poets were felicitated at the hands of the Chief Guest.
