As part of the Golden Jubilee celebrations, the Department of Psychology of DCT’s Vasantrao Dempo HSS of Arts, Science and Commerce, Cujira, organized a session on “Life Skills for Today’s Youth” on 9th September 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the Audio-Visual Room.
The Vice-Principal escorted the resource person, Mrs. Linda Santos, to the dais.
The session was compered by Ms. Prajyoti Khorjuvekar.
Mrs. Linda Santos, a noted counselor and educationist, addressed the students with an engaging talk on life skills. She highlighted the value of decision-making, problem-solving, emotional regulation, interpersonal communication, and stress management.
The session witnessed active participation from the students of Std. XI and XII Arts.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Roselyn Luis and by handing the memento by Principal Madam Mrs. Maya Sardessai to our Resource Person.
Counselor Venefrida engaged the students with a short session on importance of counselling.
