DCT’s Vasantrao Dempo HSS of Arts, Science and Commerce, Cujira, participated in the Goa State AIDS Control Society (GSACS) HIV/AIDS Awareness Competitions 2026–27.
The following activities were undertaken:
1. Poster Competition – HIV/AIDS
A poster on HIV/AIDS awareness was prepared and submitted by Ms. Shaivi Prashant Pai Parandiker of XII Commerce A. She secured 1st Place in the Poster Competition and was felicitated by the Hon’ble Health Minister on 12th August 2026 at Usgao Panchayati Hall and received a cash prize of ₹5,000/-.
2. Street Play Competition – HIV/AIDS
Our school also participated in the Street Play Competition on the theme “HIV/AIDS” held on 6th August 2026 at Menezes, Panaji, Goa.
The street play was directed by Mr. Shidhesh Cundaikar and focused on creating awareness about HIV/AIDS.
Teacher in-charge of (RRC) was Mrs. Siddhi Velingkar.
