Celebration of seven core themes of Eco Clubs for Mission Life:
Theme 3: Save energy
To promote the vision of Mission Life, the Eco Club organized an inspiring “Save Energy” campaign to encourage responsible use of electricity on 16th June 2026.
Students of DCT’s Vasantrao Dempo HSS of Arts, Science and Commerce, Cujira, enthusiastically participated in Energy-Saving Practice by switching off lights, fans, projectors, and other electrical appliances whenever they were not required. The initiative transformed simple daily actions into meaningful steps towards environmental conservation.
Classroom Energy Monitoring was conducted by Eco Club volunteers in regular classrooms to ensure that electricity was used wisely and wastage was avoided. They also motivated their peers to adopt energy-efficient habits both in school and at home.
Creative posters and informative placards with powerful energy conservation messages were displayed across the campus to spread awareness. These visual displays inspired the entire school community to understand that every small effort contributes to a greener planet.
The campaign strengthened students’ sense of responsibility towards conserving natural resources for future generations. The enthusiastic participation of students made the campaign informative, meaningful, and impactful.
Overall, the programme successfully instilled the value of saving energy and inspired students to become responsible stewards of the environment.
