Celebration of seven core themes of Eco Clubs for Mission Life:
Theme 2: Adopt Sustainable Food Systems
The Eco Club for Mission Life organized an activity on “Adopt Sustainable Food Systems” on 19th June 2026.
Students of DCT’s Vasantrao Dempo HSS of Arts, Science and Commerce, Cujira, participated in an Innovative Sustainable Cooking Ideas Presentation by preparing creative posters, models
and projects. They showcased healthy food items such as Moringa Salad, Nutritious Healthy Dips, and Homemade Food Products.
Students explained the nutritional value and environmental benefits of these sustainable food choices.
The activity highlighted the importance of reducing food waste and promoting the use of locally available foods. It encouraged students to develop healthy eating habits and become responsible consumers.
Overall, the programme successfully created awareness about the link between food, health, and environmental sustainability.
