Kala Utsav aims to foster and showcase the artistic talents of students at the secondary stage. The theme for Kala Utsav 2025 was “Viksit Bharat – A Vision for Bharat @2047“.
Students from DCT’s Vasantrao Dempo HSS of Arts, Science and Commerce, Cujira, participated in various categories such as Vocal Music, Instrumental Music,
Dance, Theatre, Visual Art, and Storytelling.
Our student Miss Pauravi Desai secured the 1st place in Bharatanatyam Classical Dance at the State level and went on to represent the State of Goa at the National Level Competition held at Bhopal.
In the Drama category, students Miss Nikita Naik, Miss Swara Misal, Mast. Shravan Morajkar, Mast. Shravan Kankonkar, and Mast. Atharv Mulgaonkar participated and bagged the 2nd place. The name of the drama was “Kokonicho Mahapurush,” which was written and directed by our staff member Mr. Shidesh Cudaikar.
The Prize Distribution Ceremony was held on 28th April 2025 at the Directorate of Education, Porvorim, Goa.
Teacher in-charge were Mrs. Ashwini Sawant and Mr. Shidesh Cudaikar.
