Celebration of seven core themes of Eco Clubs for Mission Life:
Theme 5: Reduce Waste
As part of the Eco Clubs for Mission Life (Lifestyle for Environment) under Samagra Shiksha, Government of Goa, the Eco Club organized activities on the theme “Reduce Waste” to promote responsible waste management and sustainable living on 25th June 2026.
A two-bin waste segregation system was installed in the school canteen to encourage proper separation of wet and dry waste.
Students prepared projects and models on compost pits, paper recycling, smart bins, and waste management.
Recycled waste art contests inspired students to create useful and decorative items from discarded materials, encouraging creativity and reuse.
These activities helped students understand the importance of the Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle principles.
The initiative fostered environmental responsibility and strengthened students’ commitment towards building a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future.
