The Computer Science Department of DCT’s Vasantrao Dempo HSS of Arts, Science and Commerce, Cujira, organized the Inaugural Ceremony of the Projector in the Computer Science Laboratory on 6th February 2026 from 8.40 to 9.20 am.

The projector was inaugurated in the presence of the Principal, Vice-Principal, Parents Teachers Association (PTA) President, teaching staff, and students. The projector was sponsored by the Parents Teachers Association of the school, whose generous support was acknowledged with sincere gratitude.
During the inaugural address, the Principal highlighted the importance of integrating technology in education and emphasized how the projector would enhance the teaching–learning process by making lessons more interactive and visually effective.
The Computer Science teacher, Mrs. Toshita Raikar explained how the projector would be effectively used for presentations, practical demonstrations, programming concepts, and multimedia-based learning, thereby improving students’ understanding and engagement.
Students presented their Computer Science Projects namely Budget Calculator by Mast. Anish Turi, Mast. Raj Naik and Mast. Ayush Narvekar and Currency Converter by Ms. Narayani Pai.
Ms. Anushka Padalghare conveyed her gratitude to the Principal, Vice Principal and PTA President for providing them with a projector.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing appreciation to the management, PTA members, staff, and students for their cooperation and support.
The inauguration marked a significant step towards strengthening digital learning facilities in the Computer Science Laboratory.
