A quiz on Patriotism, India’s Freedom Struggle, the National Flag and National Unity was organized in DCT’s Vasantrao Dempo HSS of Arts, Science and Commerce, Cujira, on 14th August 2026 in the A.V. Room.
The quiz aimed to promote patriotism, national unity and awareness among students under the Har Ghar Tiranga 2026 and Vande Mataram@150 initiatives of the Government of Goa.
Students of Std. XI and XII from Arts, Science and Commerce participated.
A preliminary round was held on 13th August, 2026 in which 12 teams participated.
Each team comprised of 02 participants from 11th and 12th Arts, Science and Commerce.
Out of the 12 teams only six teams qualified for the final quiz.
The final quiz was held on 14th August 2026 that comprised of six rounds and witnessed enthusiastic participation from all six teams.
The following teams emerged as winners:
1st place – 12th Arts A,
2nd place – 11th Science C
3rd place – 12 Commerce D
