Biology Teacher, Mrs. Shubhada Rajesh Bandodkar of DCT’s Vasantrao Dempo HSS of Arts, Science and Commerce, Cujira, actively attended and participated in the State-Level Hands-On Workshop on Seed Ball Making, titled “Seeds of Change: Building a Greener Goa on August 14, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The event was organized by Department of Geography, Government College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Sanquelim – Goa in Association with Goa State Biodiversity Board, Rotaract Club, Bicholim, Samagra Shiksha Abhiyaan,Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam.
Session 1: Biodiversity Conservation & Ecological Restoration.
Session 2: Hands-On Seed Ball Preparation: Practical training in creating seed balls designed to enhance biodiversity and to aid environmental restoration across local regions.
The workshop aimed at Experiential Learning and the Interactive engagement session aimed at promoting environmental awareness among educators and students.
